MERCER AGREES TO 3-YEAR CONTRACT

The New Jersey Devils have agreed to terms with restricted free agent forward Dawson Mercer on a three-year, $12 million contract.

In 82 games with the Devils last season, Mercer registered 20 goals and 13 assists for 33 points.

Over his first three NHL seasons, Mercer has accumulated 64 goals and 67 assists for 131 points, along with 71 penalty minutes.

He was originally drafted 18th overall by the Devils in the 2020 NHL Draft.
