HURRICANES ACQUIRE KUZNETSOV FROM CAPITALS

The Carolina Hurricanes have acquired centre Evgeny Kuznetsov from the Washington Capitals in exchange for a 2025 third-round draft pick.

The Capitals are also retaining 50 percent of Kuznetsov’s contract.
