TIPPETT, FLYERS AGREE TO 8-YEAR EXTENSION

The Philadelphia Flyers and forward Owen Tippett have agreed to terms on an eight-year contract extension worth an average annual value of $6.2 million per season.
Tippett, 24, is in the final year of a two-year, $3 million contract.

In 46 games with the Flyers so far this season, Tippett has registered 18 goals and 12 assists for 30 points.
