BLACKHAWKS, MRAZEK AGREE TO 2-YEAR EXTENSION

The Chicago Blackhawks and goaltender Petr Mrazek have agreed to a two-year contract extension worth $8.5 million, sources have confirmed to TFP.
Kevin Weekes of the NHL Network and ESPN first reported the deal on Wednesday morning.
Mrazek, 31, is in the final year of his current three-year, $11.4 million contract, which includes a 10-team n0-trade list.
In 32 games with the Blackhawks so far this season, Mrazek has posted a 12-17-1 record with a 3.01 goals-against-average, a .907 save percentage and one shutout.
To date, over his career, Mrazek has played in 366 career NHL regular-season games with the Detroit Red Wings, Philadelphia Flyers, Carolina Hurricanes, Toronto Maple Leafs and Blackhawks, and has compiled a 162-141-35 record with 25 shutouts, a 2.78 GAA and a .907 save percentage.
Mrazek was originally drafted by the Red Wings in the fifth-round, 141st overall, of the 2010 NHL Draft.
