The St. Louis Blues have acquired defenceman Cam Fowler and a 2027 fourth-round pick from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for defenceman Jeremie Biakabutuka and a 2027 second-round pick.

The Ducks are also retaining $2.5 million of Fowler’s annual cap hit for the duration of his contract – this season, and next season.

Fowler, 33, was originally drafted 12th overall by the Ducks in 2010. The Windsor, Ontario, native has spent his entire 15-year career in Anaheim, including the past five seasons as an assistant captain.

This season, he appeared in 17 games, logging four assists and six penalty minutes.

Overall, Fowler has accumulated 96 goals and 361 assists for 457 points and 261 penalty minutes in 991 career NHL regular-season games, to date.
