Every Tuesday throughout the 2009-10 regular-season, TFP's Panel of Experts analyze and rank the Top 10 rookies of this year's campaign.

For the final update of the season, Buffalo Sabres defenseman Tyler Myers remains atop the TFP Rookie Watch, with Detroit Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard and Colorado Avalanche stud Matt Duchene rounding out the Top 3.

RANK PLAYER
1 Tyler Myers
A stud on the blueline, Sabres fans have to be pleased with this giant defenseman. Myers produced exceedingly well and had made a BIG name for himself in the NHL.

RANK PLAYER
2 Jimmy Howard
We have to give credit where credit is due, and without Jimmy Howard between the pipes this season, the Detroit Red Wings might not have been in the playoff picture.

RANK PLAYER
3 Matt Duchene
Duchene was absolutely outstanding for Colorado this season, and a big reason why the Avalanche remained in playoff contention.

RANK PLAYER
4 John Tavares
The Islanders failed to make playoffs this year (not much of a shocker), but Tavares has given the Long Island faithful a lot to cheer about.

RANK PLAYER
5 Tuukka Rask
Bruins fans can thank Rask for giving the club a playoff spot. Rask stole the starters job from Tim Thomas and will take over between the pipes for Boston for a long time.
