WASHINGTON CAPITALS (3)
vs.
PHILADELPHIA FLYERS (6)

When the Capitals clinched a playoff spot, it looked as if Alex Ovechkin just won the Stanley Cup.

This young superstar is filled with energy and passion, and that means trouble for the Philadelphia Flyers.

Ovechkin, Cristobal Huet and Co. have a lot to prove and this has the making for a fantastic playoff series. Ovie will shine in his taste of post-season play, while Huet and Sergei Fedorov will want to show everyone what they're made of.

In Philly, the Flyers will need stellar goaltending if they plan on getting past the first-round.

Martin Biron is going to have to stand on top of his head for most of the series, and the Flyers will need some big offensive production from Mike Richard, Jeff Carter and Daniel Briere.

Expect the Flyers to toss the body around, as well, and hope to intimidate the Capitals.
