SAN JOSE SHARKS
(2)
vs.
CALGARY FLAMES
(7)
| The San
jose Sharks finished the season on an extremely strong
note, even though the Calgary Flames won three of four
meetings between the two clubs this season.
With Joe Thornton leading
the charge up front, Brian Campbell taking care of the
back-end, and Evgeni Nabokov between the pipes, the
Sharks have a great shot of battling for the Stanley Cup
this season.
However, expect the
Flames to throw the body around -- I'm looking at you,
Dion Phaneuf.
The Flames should play a
very physical series against the Sharks, which could
work in their favor.
Calgary has the offense,
with Jarome Iginla, Alex Tanguay, Kristian Huselius and
Daymond Langkow leading the way. Add in a strong
blueline and great goaltending and this could have the
making of an upset. |
