NEW JERSEY DEVILS (4)
vs.
NEW YORK RANGERS (5)

Since the Rangers beat the Devils en route to winning the Stanley Cup in 1994, the teams have faced each other only twice in post-season play -- each team won one series.

The Rangers beat up on the Devils during the regular season, winning seven of their eight match-ups, with Scott Gomez and Chris Drury leading the pack.

The Devils are going to need to find a way to get the puck past Henrik Lundqvist if they want to win this series. Martin Brodeur will do all he can in the New Jersey crease, but if the Devils can't find a way to score goals, they'll be golfing in a few weeks.

Sean Avery is going to try and get in everyone's face, and that's something the Devils are going to have to worry about. He'll get under their skin and throw them off their game.

If/once that happens, look for the Rangers to try and take advantage of New Jersey's frustration.
