Vigneault's job in jeopardy?

TheFourthPeriod.com

According to the Vancouver Province, the fate of Canucks head coach Alain Vigneault will be determined by the end of this week.

Canucks management and scouts are in Las Vegas for their annual meetings, and the Province reports GM Mike Gillis has summoned Vigneault to attend.

Gillis and Vigneault have already sat down for five meetings in Vancouver.

"I don't think you can read anything into this at this point," Gillis told the paper. "We'd like to reach a conclusion around the weekend and in the next couple of days have a much firmer idea."

Vigneault, who refuses to comment on the situation, has one-year remaining on his current contract. He was last season's Coach of the Year.
