Senators sign Auld

The Ottawa Senators have signed unrestricted free agent goalie Alex Auld to a two-year, $2 million contract.

Auld, 27, split last season between Phoenix and Boston and compiled a record of 12-13-5.

He was originally drafted in the second-round (40th overall) by the Florida Panthers in 1999.
