VEGAS CONTINUES TO SCOUR MARKET

The Vegas Golden Knights have been engaged in trade talks all week leading up to today’s 3pm ET trade deadline and may be trying to pull off another move later today.
Earlier this week, the Golden Knights acquired winger Anthony Mantha from the Washington Capitals and defenceman Noah Hanifin from the Calgary Flames. The team tried to land Jake Guentzel from the Pittsburgh Penguins before they traded him to the Carolina Hurricanes.
According to TFP’s David Pagnotta, the Golden Knights remain in the hunt for another forward and could be looking to make another splash ahead of the deadline.

Using LTIR space, the Golden Knights have just over $4.726 million in salary cap space that GM Kelly McCrimmon could spend if he finds the right deal.
The Golden Knights have several NHL defencemen on the roster and could look to move one of those players out in an attempt to add more offensive punch up front.
