OILERS ACQUIRE HENRIQUE, CARRICK FROM DUCKS

The Edmonton Oilers have acquired centre Adam Henrique, forward Sam Carrick, the rights to goalie Ty Taylor and a 2024 seventh-round pick in a three-way trade with the Anaheim Ducks and Tampa Bay Lightning.

As part of the trade, the Ducks receive a 2024 first-round draft pick and a 2025 conditional fifth-round draft pick, while the Lightning receive a 2025 conditional fourth-round draft pick.

Henrique was ranked No.3 on the TFP Trade Watch List.

The Ducks are retaining 50 percent of Carrick and Henrique’s contracts. The Lightning are retaining 25% of Henrique’s deal.
